Jim is well known as New Zealand's best speech coach and top Cultural Transformation architect.

He is one of New Zealand’s most in-demand trainers/strategic planning facilitators. He is a respected business advisor, who has designed coaching, learning and development programmes for dozens of New Zealand’s top organisations and athletes, as well as providing leadership development programmes for a range of Government bodies.
 
Having graduated top of Auckland University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Educational Psychology, Jim has won numerous awards and accolades in the speaking profession. He was the first professional speaker in New Zealand to be awarded the highly prestigious international Certified Speaking Professional Award. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Business Studies, majoring in Tourism and Human Resources (Massey University), and a Graduate Diploma in Theology and Communication (Laidlaw College).
 
Jim established TeamOne Corporate Development (www.teamone.co.nz) in 1996 which has gone on to become one of the most successful training companies in Australasia. As a part of TeamOne, he has worked with a who’s who of top businesses.
 
Jim developed the PowerTrain© Personal and Professional Development programme which has been used as a construct for a wide range of business enhancement programmes throughout some of New Zealand and Australia’s best known organizations.

Jim has provided personal growth and development programmes to dozens of New Zealands top athletes and team captains, right up to All-Black level.
 
Having established TeamOne as a leading training company throughout New Zealand, he has sold the company to two of his former Personal Development clients, Eric Rush and Tawera Nikau, who describe themselves as the Remington’s Men “We liked the programme so much, we bought the company.” 
 
Jim retired from full time involvement in TeamOne in 2005 and continues to do limited private consulting and training projects for Athletes, Maori and Pacific Trusts and Business Leaders.

He has also successfully initiated fundraising projects with the support of the All-Blacks which have generated close to $1million in cash and other gifts for the support of spinal patients in New Zealand, Samoa and Fiji.

Jim and his wife Rona use their New Zealand home as a small Corporate Retreat and Conference centre, and also as a base for helping discouraged people to get back on their feet after tragedies and setbacks.
